why this summer rules so far:
realized my dream of going to Iceland
my boyfriend asked me to be his wife
the singer of sigur ros kissed my hand and forced me to go dance with him
flew to toronto for 2 days with the sister
saw nine inch nails once again
the first photopass i got "on my own" was for nine inch nails
no doubt next week!
maybe the beastie boys later this summer if i feel like it? hah
the boyfriend is coming to visit in july
we are going to our pre-wedding meeting to pick a date for the wedding at the courthouse!!
got a new camera (5D) and a new lense (17-40 F4L)
will add to this later :)

The sister and i just came back from 2 days in Toronto. It was fun!
Walked around a bit, then we went to the Nine Inch Nails show (which was amazing!!)
The setlist was crazy and i had a photopass, i was more than stoked haha.
We went shopping today in the city, i didnt find much... But i bought this cute pair of fred perry shoes (http://www.shoe-shop.com/content/ebiz/shoeshop/invt/sch190781/sch190781_White-Purple_l.jpg) for the summer! (is it even summer yet? the weather is kinda sucky)
I also got chipotle!! i missed that place haha
Then Scott gave us a ride to the airport. it was a shorttt flight. I wish i had money to fly all the time haha.
I took around 3-4GB of pictures at the show, its going to take a while to go through them haha.
I'm buying an external harddrive tomorrow, my computer doesnt even have 10GB left, but this show+iceland is over 20GB worth of pictures. woops!

Our trip to Iceland was AMAZING. 100x better than i thought it would be
i got engaged!!! on the 23rd Joe asked me to marry him on this amazing beach in the western part of the country. I couldn't be happier! my man is amazing, the beach was beautiful, we had an amazing trip and the ring is gorgeous!<3<3
To end this amazing day, we went out in Reykjavik (got out of the bar at 5AM and went to bed at around 6:30 haha).
I danced with the singer of Sigur Ros!! it was out of this world craziness haha.
We met up a guy from there and hung out with him all night and he knew i love sigur ros, so he went up to the singer that was at the bar (i guess hes friend with him) and told him i loved his band. Next thing i know theres this guy looking at me straight in the eyes, kissing my hand and taking me to the dance floor haha. Such a sweet guy, i love the band even more than i did now! haha
It was sunny 95% of the time & im really stoked on my pictures! I have some random ones up on facebook but ill post the good one later this week!
I feel so jetset ahah, im flying again next week to Toronto for the NIN show! woo

oh and showsss. we never have good hardcore shows anymore which is kind of a bummer, but whatever, i'll live.
Nine inch nails is playing in Toronto on June 2nd and i already bought (not so good tickets) that im trying to sell.
I decided not to go anymore, butttt tickets are going on sale tonight so i'll try to get better seats and if i do, i'll go!
I think i will be skipping No Doubt. I thought that paying 100$ to see them is a bit too much. I might regret it but oh well!
and im hoping for Beastie Boys date this summer as well!

my tax return for this year: 2 330$
AMAZING
its such a relief to leave for iceland with 0$ in debts!!
i owe 2000$ on my visa and 150$ on my loan. so all of this will be gone as soon as i get my checks.
& i'll have enough to buy to hallyhansen jacket that i found.
As for iceland, i have saved almost enough so far to pay for all the hotels (roughly 1000/1200$ cad)
Joe is paying for the car (1000$ or so cad). So all we have to pay after that will be gas and food. I'm hoping to go horse riding as well but it will depend on how much driving we will be doin and how much free time we'll have. SOOO EXCITED! were leaving in less than 2 months!
and i already made a list of what i want to buy after i come back.
-a bike. (nothing fancy, i had the same bike for 10 years and my dad threw it away for my safety last year haha) so something around 2-300$ would definitely be okay for me)
-I was thinking about buying a 40D used (500$) to replace my beat up 20D, but i think i might just borrow one from work for iceland and save up to buy the new 5D mark II. This would mean i'll have to sell 2 of my lenses which should cover 70% of the 24-70 i would buy! woo
-I also want to take piano lessons. I got a keyboard for xmas but i barely touched it. I just dont have motivation to learn in my own room.
-Gym membership! well see how this goes!
hopefully i can buy the bike as soon as i come back from iceland and get the camera pretty quickly so i can use this summer. I need to shoot doggies! alot of them!
